City Replacing Route 31 Water Main This Fall
Road ConstructionThe City has replaced a 70-year-old water main on Route 31 from North Street to the Geneva’s northern boundary limit.

Starting Nov. 24, homes are now being switched over to the new main. Bolder Contractors, Inc. is  knocking on doors before water service is shut off for 30 minutes for the conversion to take place.

Residents are advised to run the tap inside their home for a few minutes to remove all air from the service line.

When necessary, flaggers will be present to direct motorists on Route 31 during construction. One lane of traffic in each direction is expected to remain open throughout the project.

Residents can visit the construction webpage for project updates.
