Electric Plug.jpgThe City of Geneva provides electricity service through our municipally-owned utility. The City of Geneva Electric Division Provides:

  • Quality, reliable, and affordable power                                     
  • Meter reading services
  • Outage restoration
  • Power generation and delivery

The Electric Division employees are responsible for the design and maintenance of the Electric Utility System within the City limits of Geneva. This includes the City's electrical substations, distribution system and fiber optic communications network. We take pride in providing quality, reliable and affordable electric service to our 10,200 residential, commercial and industrial customers. 

Other responsibilities of the Electric Division include responding to power outages, electric metering and street lights.  

Our staff is on call 24/7 to guarantee that our customers receive the best possible service.
